US Soccer Birth Year Mandate

There is a dramatic shift in how all youth soccer will be divided in the upcoming 2016-2017 season and beyond.  

Instead of dividing age groups by school year (Aug-Jul) it will now be by calendar year (Jan-Dec).  While this may seem like a dramatic disruption it most likely will be uncomfortable in the transition year and then business as usual after that.
